They look embarrassed 'cause you're looking at them! Just kidding. I really do love it when my husband wants to see my artwork, and I'm happy to show it to him...I'm just super shy about it.

hehe yeah cool artwork ...Hi I am a 16 year old artist and basically i want some tips on how can work properly for my comic book ..basically how to go about it??
ReplyDeleteThanks! ^_^ A good way to start is to go the library or Amazon and check out as many books on making comics as you can. They truly help a lot. Also the books explain comic-making terminology like inking and paneling, and the right order to do these things in.
DeleteHere's a list of books that I found helpful, but there are many more out there! I recommend reading Making Comics by Scott McCloud first because it gives a general overview of how to make comics: http://manga-arcadia.blogspot.com/2013/05/recommended-reading-for-aspiring-manga.html
Another way to get started is just to start drawing people and and putting speech bubbles on them. With comics, the more you draw them the better you get.
On this blog I've written a few posts about starting out with making comics. You may find them helpful, or not, lol!
